Justine and Karl
Justine and Karl got in touch with me ages ago. They were planning a barn wedding in the heart of Northumberland. We met, we clicked and we chatted about their wedding plans. They booked me to shoot their wedding and told them I was on hand at any time to discuss any ideas they had.
A little time passed and Justine got in touch. Her heart was not in the countryside but on the coast. They were switching their venue to the beach as it was there where they felt most at home. BINGO…. me too! Crusoes in Tynemouth is right on the beach. There they knew they would be able to have a truly relaxed celebration which totally fitted their personalities.
What I didn’t realise was just how artistic and creative Justine was. She made just about all of the decorations for the wedding day, from dream catchers, to macrame hoops and table decorations. She worked closely with Becca of Charisma Flowers to get everything just right with the floral decorations and bouquets.
The day started with preparations at the Grand Hotel in Tynemouth, then by horse and carriage to North Shield Registry Office. After that we headed to “How do you Do” for a sit down meal, before the evening party at Crusoes. I think 4 venues is the most I have done in a day, but as they were all in close proximity it worked out fine.
