North Yorkshire Woodland Wedding | Styled Shoot | Swinton Bivouac Wedding

A late spring visit to The Bivouac at the Swinton Estate for a styled shoot organised by photographer Nicola Dixon.

To shoot in the woodland a boho bride and her partner, musicians Beccy & Sam of Ophelia.

This had the making of one very cool day, with the potential for gorgeousness all around!

So I couldn't resist the opportunity for this. Not only to shoot such a gorgeous couple, but to see colleagues, friends, and relish in Nicola's good taste. It did not disappoint, having a very elopement style feel which I love.

The venue was gorgeous and I will definitely be going back for some dog walks as the Cafe is dog friendly and the food amazing (Nicola organised afternoon tea for us all.) It seems a very convivial place, with barbecue and music nights, yurts to rent, and bivouacs in a secluded woodland. Another plus was Druid's Temple, a modern stone circle built by William Danby, built to recreate Stonehenge. A little strange, but it added to the atmosphere of the day!
