Kim and Ben…

All my correspondence for this wedding was with Ben. He was steady. Measured. Assured. The I met his gorgeous  fiancée, all colour and fireworks, and all full of intelligent words at 100 mph! I knew I was going to love this wedding at High House Farm Brewery in Northumberland. Her stories of traveling through Central America, all the languages she spoke. It was easy to see why Ben was mesmerised and so in love with her. Their first stop on their wedding journey with me was their pre-wedding consultation and shoot. We met at the High House Farm Wedding Venue, a brewery for…. what else…. a pint and Sunday dinner, got to know each other a little bit, then headed out to take a few pictures and get used to being photographed. Roll on to their wedding day….

So Kim got ready at the Malmaison in Newcastle.  Breakfast was a high priority, and amazing Eggs benedict arrived for everyone. Kim never, ever stopped talking. She couldn’t actually believe it was her wedding day. All the planning, all the decisions to make, had all come together. Of course there were a couple of last minute hiccups, but Kim cruised through these with her pragmatism and quick thinking. With her best girlfriends around her, there was nothing that was going to spoil the big day.

First Look…

Kim and Ben opted for a First look and a reunion drink with their immediate families before the ceremony at their High House Farm Wedding venue. The moment Kim came up the stairs to see Ben for the first time in a week was so romantic and full of anticipation.

The Ceremony…

The Celebrations…

Lots of Laughter, lots of Beer, and lots of languages! All reflecting the life that Kim and Ben had already built together….. and the promise of lots of great things to come. It was a wedding full of individuality, creativity and love. And I totally enjoyed being a part of their celebrations for a day!
