The Asylum, London Wedding Photographer

…The Asylum, London

There are certain venues in the UK that hold magic in their walls. The Asylum in London is one of them. So to get a feel for shooting at this dream venue, I headed down to London to meet up with friends and shoot there. It was one of those wonderful days, of southern warmth (hurrah… much missed up in the North East), which perfectly match the italianate feel of the chapel. Crumbling plaster alludes to gilded fresco paintings that once covered the walls. Its decaying charm however still make this an amazing space full of textures to photograph.

So if you are reading this and you are thinking the you might like to marry at the Asylum, and wondering why a photographer from the NorthEast wants to shoot your wedding day, I hope that these images might persuade you! I travel throughout the UK for weddings , but the capital is pretty special and I can’t wait to return. London used to be my home city, having grown up in the South East. The city gives me a buzz every time I visit; I adore the creative possibilities of the sights and sounds of London life.

So book me. You won’t be disappointed!
