Lake District Elopements
Joni Mitchell, guitar, coffee, burnt orange and fern van interiors. Mountains, lakes and youthful freedom.
Sounds idyllic? It does to me. Van life and an elopement. How could I miss this?
Late summer mist, rain, midges and mud could not deter Laura and Aaron from their handfasting elopement ceremony, tieing together their promises to love, cherish, care for and always adventure. An elopement which was completely authentic to who they are and the life they create together.
Lake District Wild Elopement & Van Life
Snuggled up together in their self converted van, Laura and Aaron spent the night before their ceremony together parking on the wild side in the Langdales. Things had not gone quiet to plan as in true Van life style, the van broke down which meant they could not get up the mountain pass as hoped. The hike to the ceremony location just go longer.
Preparing for the day.
Eloping together is an intimate way to marry right from the off. Its about the two of you and the way of life you value.
With a Rue de Seine dress and dried flower bouquet and crown from Folkey Dokey Laura looked the total bohemian bride!
Elopement Wedding Hike
With Dirty Boots and Messy Hair Aaron and Laura walked towards the location of their elopement hand fasting ceremony. Assisted by the What3Words App to find the special place Charlotte, their celebrant had arranged for them.
