Weddings at The Parlour at Blagdon
When an enquiry comes in from the local grapevine, I know I am in for a treat of a wedding. I had met a few of Christie and Stu’s friends, and the word had got around that I’d be up for shooting their day at The Parlour at Blagdon! And what a pleasure it was. Instantly I was welcomed in like one of the family. This was not a wedding where I observed from the outside looking in; I was wrapped up in the emotion of the day.
It almost didn’t happen though. Two weeks before the wedding day, I felt absolutely wretched. Yes you guessed it… COVID hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew I had to isolate for a given time, and that I had to have a negative test before I could be amongst other people. Thankfully all ended well and two days their day, I was able to tell Christie and Stu I would be there.
