“Tailor made package” means just that. If the City Hall and down the pub is your thing, it still needs shooting don’t you think? Below are some examples of shorter days.

The Quickie

Ideal for the quick registry office or just for two weddings. For the welcomes 30 mins prior to ceremony, the ceremony, then an hour for some family photos and couples shoot around the city, before heading off to celebrate. Recommended 2 hours coverage.

The Micro

Ideal for smaller and intimate weddings. From prep and details, to the ceremony. Sprinkle the confetti before your heritage family photos and a couples shoot. Then onto capturing the toasts and speeches. Recommended 5 hours coverage.

Pre wedding shoot

“Can we have a practice?”

It really helps the both of you and me if we can get together before your day. And a pre-wedding shoot in a Tyneside or Tyne Valley location is a great way to get over any jitters about photography. It helps me “get you” and create a space where you feel relaxed about having your photos taken.

And the little win that you have a mini gallery to enjoy and share before your day.

“We think that we need two photographers.”

BIG wedding or multiple locations.

Two photographers are definitely a good idea if you are getting ready in different locations. Then you can then enjoy each others preparations and your synchronicity. During the ceremony it helps to have an additional angle. If you want to have a lot of family group photographs, a second shooter can still capture the candids of your wedding guests celebrating behind the scenes, so you can see their shenanigans.

I’m based in the TYNE VALLEY, and photograph all around Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Co. Durham and into North Yorkshire. I regularly travel much FURTHER AFIELD also and ESPECIALLY IN SCOTLAND, so you should still tell me about your day if your wedding is beyond this radius.

“Gill was absolutely amazing from the moment we found her… and on our trial photoshoot on the beach she made us feel relaxed, comfortable, and naturally smiley”.

No. So it is absolutely fair, dates with me are only secure upon the payment of the admin and retainer fee and the signing of the contract. I will inform you if someone else has enquired for your date.

Yes. I have shot wedding all over the UK and destination weddings in Europe. Your proposal will include the expenses for this if overnight stays required. Mileage and time are also chargeable.

As I know you’ll be excited to share your incredible day, within 24 hours of being back at my desk you get a little sneak peek gallery of around 10 images. Then in the coming weeks I personally edit your gallery in my signature style. You’ll get a wee storytelling slideshow before I release the final gallery. Normally I deliver the full gallery between 4 – 8 weeks from your wedding day. Don’t worry you will be updated on progress along the way.

I certainly am. I have public liability, professional indemnity and equipment insurance. I am more than happy to supply the certificate if requested by the venue.

Definately. I fact I recommend it if you are having a really big wedding, require lots of family portraits, or are across multiple sites. I sort out the second shooter, and they work for me so I can edit all the images with my signiture style. You do not need to go looking for another photographer.

Attached to your gallery is a wonderful platform to create amazing albums and print products. I can walk you through the process of designing you album. But if you would rather I created your album design, just chose the images you want included, and I can sort the layout for you (the design process has a fee of£250).

Quick answer … NO! Because I love the beauty of photography. I work with some amazingly talented videographers though and am happy to recommend.

The Wedding Industry is full of incredible creatives, and I have a little black book of my favourite ones whose core values fit with mine. From Florists to Graphic Designers, Hair and Make Up to the best entertainment. I really have worked with the best and am happy to pass on my insider knowledge.
